Players can drink Alcohol and get an addiction to it. There is a little consumerism with the in-game mod shop called the social club, where you buy points with real money to get items and skins in the game. But if you're child is mature enough, they won't get influenced by anything. There is a lot of blood and sometimes enemies can explode into pieces. I'd say the worst part about Fallout 4 is the violence. The worst you can do is have a girlfriend and sleep with them. There isn't too much dirty/sexy stuff either. There's F and S words dropped a few times, but nothing a kid 12+ hasn't most likely heard already. Enough time to be able to tell you that this game is not as bad as you might think! The story is really engaging, and shows a great depiction of what a post-nuclear world would look like.
